SSM brake metal is our catch-all: any bent profile you need that isn’t already in the catalog. Send a sketch or a field measurement and we brake-form it in your gauge and color, usually inside 5 days.

Brake metal is formed from steel and finished in your choice of standard or custom color with a durable factory paint finish. The substrate carries the mill’s coating; the paint finish carries the coating manufacturer’s warranty. Tell us your color and gauge and we’ll match the job.
